Default Lester Summit II Charger Fault

I have an EZGO TXT PDS converted to 48V using 8 Crown CR-205 6v Batteries. I am getting a charger fault on the Lester Summit II and need some advice.

The yellow and green lights are flashing fast and the red light is flashing slow. Reading the fault chart it looks like DC disconnect, whats that? I am still using the D plug, would that cause the issue?

It charged last night with no issue but after taking it out today and trying to plug back in its not working.

The charger is saying it is not connected to the battery pack. Use your multimeter and check the voltage in the charge receptacle to see what the charger sees when you plug it in.

Reads 50.7v, same as the battery terminals.

So I read the fault chart again and it looks like for DC disconnect the yellow and green would be solid and the red would be flashing slowly.

The fault I have is both yellow and green flashing fast with the red flashing slowly. Those indicators are not on the fault chart.

Any ideas?

Use the Lester ChargerConnect app on your phone to read the error fault description.

All the lights flash when phone connects via the bluetooth app whether the charger is connected to the cart or not. At least that is what happens on my 1050W model. First time that happened I thought I had a malfunction. Just a thought.

So does this indicate an issue with the charger?

Just got off the phone with the good people at Lester Electrical and after some troubleshooting, they determined the charger was bad.

They are mailing out a new one at no charge.

Great service, highly recommend!
