G29 - YDR - Gas - Covid Upgrades
YDR Gas: Just wondering if anyone has gone down this path. In process to add some power hungry options: 420W light bar; spot lights ; seat heaters; subwoofer, AMP, speakers; (ready has LED headlights & taillights) .... and some LED bling lights. Anyway.....there is no way the generator / battery can handle all this so I'm adding a 2nd 12V battery for all the accessories along with an isolator to ensure the main 12V always has power for starting + fuse box and safety disconnect.
- Has anyone installed a dual battery setup like this? - Can anyone recommend a generator upgrade - something that kicks out more than the standard 15A? Thanks |

I have had folks that installed a battery charger in the car and plugged it in from time to time.
