Re: 82 Club car only runs at full speed
With above ( correct wiring diagram ) you might want to double check which F&R switch you have as there are some differences in wiring based on which F&R switch you have?

"Most Motors" have letters stamped on housing beside posts that will give you needed info? It may be stamped very light so clean area and look closely.

Its been a long time and also depending on which F&R switch you are using, BUT this is what I remember??? I could be all wrong so BEWARE and I would wait for confirmation of some one else to see if my wiring is correct? SCOTTYB HELP am I right??
A-1= Wire from Right Rear of F&R swivel plate ( Passenger side ) A-2= Wire from Passenger side of resistor board S-1= F&R lower posts ( jumpered together on later switches ) S-2= Number 6 battery negative terminal ( back one behind drivers seat ) |

Re: 82 Club car only runs at full speed
Finally got it guys, my f&r was diffrent so i changed the wires and it works now. One last question, i just took it around the neighborhood and after checked all connections for heat and the only thing hot was the coils, i assume thats normal with a resistor and assume its from the low speed solenoids?
