Default High speed controller

I just put a high speed controller in my club car precedent and boosted it to speed level 4 my oh my its like night and day for speed. It tops out at 20 mph now.

Is there anything else I.can do to beef this cart up more?

Speed code 4 is a max of 19.6mph. That is when the regen brake comes on so this is limiting your speed. Send your motor to PQ and they will rebuild it and disconnect the regen brake. Did you upgrade all wires to atleast 4ga, HD solenoid, HD F/R?

You didn't hurt anything but with the regen brake, that is as fast as it is going to go! You asked how you could get more speed. Also lifting it and getting some 21-22" tires will get you some more speed. My stock 08 Precedent goes 19.6 on code 4 with my weak 4X12 batteries.

What speed controller did you get and how many amps? Also, do you have stock or 22' tires?
Congrads!
