What year were the last 3 wheelers?
There is a guy trying to sell a 3 wheeler as a 88 ezgo gas. The number plate has phillips screws holding it on . The factory uses rivets . Could this be a 88 cart ?

Re: What year were the last 3 wheelers?
I think the last year was 91 or 93 . They were still being made for industrial use like a order fill cart in the warehouse where a sharp turning radius was a big plus.... I would be very suspect of any ID plate which has been replaced?

Re: What year were the last 3 wheelers?
So I guess this could be an 88 cart then. The tag could have been romoved to paint . It does look like it has been thoughorly redone.I guess I`ll go look and see if it has the 88 only muffler on it .Thanks for your reply. Rick

You might be able to look at the numbers on the motor?
Just a thought? |

Re: What year were the last 3 wheelers?
The 88 has the 2pg motor, and i think the plate is on the Metal shroud that goes around the head of the motor. At least that is where it is on my 3pg!
Okay, i am editing this! I went out and took a pic of where the plate is on the cart. (My 1982 EZGO Trike!) It IS on the shroud, under the starter/gen. The only thing is, my engine says 81, but it is a 1982 cart! Jon |
