Yup I got a volt meter/tester DIGGY one darn thing even tells you the temp and time, surprised it did not come with a printer, it’s got so much junk functions ill get lost for an hour just turning it on, but I went and picked up an old school basic one for connivance.

Pic #2 take that red cable off of the battery and put it on the other side of the bottom 2 terminals where the 36v positive comes in. I think this will solve your problem. See my shop notes below.

Re: Charging problem 85 Club car 36 v
The third batt is in the center for the left side packs the batt cable in the pic is attached to the 3dr batt POS term. and goes to bottom lower left lug on the F&R sw. like in your drawing shop note so do you take it off and loop it to the other lug on F&R sw. ??

Yes that is what the drawing shows. Do this and tell me how it runs and charges.
Can you post one pic of all the batteries and the F&R? Thanks. |

Re: Charging problem 85 Club car 36 v
OK I like to use the KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) principle.
? 1. Are U still having 3 Batteries charge and 3 that don't. If Yes , then there is nothing In the F/R wiring which can cause this . 2. What can cause this is Batteries wired incorrect to one another. The entire Pack Voltage should add up to be 36+ volts"." Check across the entire pack and record Voltage ,XX Volts NOW Check each battery and write down the reading(s) Bat#1 = x volts, Bat#2 = x volts, Bat#3 = x volts, Bat#4 = x volts, Bat#5 = x volts, Bat#6 = x volts Now check from the First Battery POS +, To 2nd Battery NEG - This should add up to be Bat#1 volts + Bat#2 volts Now check from the First Battery POS +, To 3rd Battery NEG - This should add up to be Bat#1 volts + Bat#2 volts + Bat#3 volts Keep this up until U find the point where it does not add up and U have found U'r problem . Use the attached picture to show what is Batt#1 ...etc. The red lines are showing where the cables go , don't pay any attention to black lines or the Other stuff written on it . |
