Well if you have already changed them, you know what you are doing and you have the puller. In addition the flywheel may not be jammed on that tight so what have you got to lose? Give a go.

Got it running again. Put on a new fuel pump and cleaned the carb. Also adjusted the throttle cable, changed the microswitch on the pedal and found a broken wire going to it. It seems to be running better than ever and the best part is it doesnt backfire anymore.
