Default How do I determin if my MPT 1200 is industrial?

Hello all,

I'm new here. I just purchased my first cart, an EZGO MPT1200. Since I know nothing of carts, I thought it prudent to surround myself with those who do.

My question is, how do I identify which model of the 1200 I have? Is there a notable difference between the standard 1200 and the industrial?

It's a 2009 MPT 1200, with the Kawasaki engine. It has standard 8" wheels on the front and 10" turf on the back. A dump that is not powered.

I'll be glad to supply any additional information needed, I just don't know what I'm looking for.

Thanks!

Get your serial number off the cart and go to ezgo website, you can input your serial number there and it will tell you what you have, congrats on the new cart and WELCOME to the madness.

Thanks for the welcome, and the response.

I tried the EZGO website, but it only identifies my serial number as a MPT1200/ Workhourse. No details of the options or the actual model itself.

Maybe I'll give EZGO a call Monday, and share what I found with you guys.

Again, thanks for getting back with me.

I found out that my model is a "Turf" cart.

They do make an industrial, but the tech guy at EZGO said that most of those models are painted yellow, and have small tires all the way around.

That's all I know. Thanks again for the help.

BDuke, most of those carts pretty much are the same with just a few mostly cosmetic differences but the Cushmans are usually built with a few more HD options. The Cushman version of the Workhorse is called a Hauler.. Here is the link.. http://www.cushman.com/golf_turf/gt_...gt_hauler.html on the 1200 Gas tab. Both are good..
