G22 Periodic Stalling
I've been having trouble with my G22. It will run fine for a while and then stall/cough/sputter and sometimes backfire.
Here's what I've tried... I've replaced the spark plug. I've drained the gas tank. I've replaced fuel pump and all hoses attached to it. I've had the carburetor rebuilt. Still sputtering... jeremyatcamp |

Re: G22 Periodic Stalling
after it cools down does it run fine try the coil, they can heat up and fail or make sure you have a good ground to the coil, but a backfire is usally a lean condition so you can check when it starts to sputter shut it off, then check if the carb bowl is full of fuel, and another thing is to check the crank seals, with it just at a slight idle as slow as you can spray starting fliud behind the clutch and other end of crank and if it changes rpm either up or down you have a seal leaking when the cart warms up
