Steering damper for off road
My hunting cart will be traveling some rutted gas well roads. Does anyone make a steering dampener that will lessen the tendency of the steering wheel to get jerked from my hands and send me over hills that I don't want to go over?

Re: Steering damper for off road
Great info guys!! Thanks!! I'm gonna order one of these.
Just one more question.....Do I need to have the bracket welded on or is that a bolt on part? Welding is not a big deal as I have a nephew that just went thru his welding course. Now...he told me he got an "A".....but then.....it coulda been an "F" and he's just yankin my chain. Oh.....I didn't see these on Scotty's web site either. |

Re: Steering damper for off road
One more question on this steering damper.....I have a set of Jakes installed on my front wheels\spindles along with some custom made brush guards. Do you think the damper will fit into this???

Re: Steering damper for off road
After crawling around on the floor to get a better look at my spindle....it appears my cart doesn't have the tow hook on either the passenger side (which is where it should be) or the drivers side.
The only thing I can think is this got whacked when the brakes got installed. |

Re: Steering damper for off road
Anyone ever figure out how to attached the damper end on a spindle without a tow arm?
