Default G1 with Enticer 250 Head

Ok so i have started this build and its similar to another member here but there are more than one way to skin a cat. So far I've done a complete rebuild on a 82 g1 and there aren't to many original nuts and bolts left... but instead of putting the old head back on i opted to replace it with a Enticer 250 head that I had bored out .02 over. I also threw the old carb out and went with a mikuni VM34-389. now it hasn't been easy jetting this thing out but iam close (still a lil to rich). my current settings are,
Slow Jet: 95
Needle: 6DH4
Needle Jet: N8
Main Jet: 200

The plug is coming out with a nice brown color. I am still running the stock G1 pipe, and yes i know and have heard all the arguments but i need to get the smaller things dealt with before i can play with that. plus i need to find an enticer pipe as well, so if anyone has one, maybe donate ... well so far she is running a lot stronger than with the old head but not like she should be... that is where you guys come in with some help. when i am running her there seems to be no difference between lil less than 3/4 and wot. and when she is wot she doesn't sound revved out. anyone have ideas why?

Where's Marathon when you need him? He had a G1 with a similar carb. Maybe search his threads? He has helped me with mine, but I have a Kehin carb and the jetting sizes are different.

Did you up the main jet until it bogged out? I would go up a few sizes and run it and see how it is. If it boggs out, go smaller until it's right.

Also check your throttle cable and make sure it's opening all the way. Is that a slide carb? Is it vacuum driven or cable driven? I had an atv that had twin mikuni's and the rubber boot around the slide had a small leak in it which caused it not to open all the way.
