I have a one car garage. Tool boxes and work benches line 3 or the 4 walls. The door, of course, is the 4th. The cart goes in first. Then the bike. The portable generator goes in behind that.
I thought that was the way everyone did it.

Mine's wide, deep and TALL, yet my toys take up most of the spece. I have shelves, containers for flammables, radial arm saw, compound miter saw on wheels, router table, table saw, welder, Tesla coil, 25 kV transformer, 35 kV transformer, 48" x the whole length of the garage work bench, Olympic weight set.....
