ok i got the timing set 18f 22r . did the HEI upgrade that turned ok pretty cool. i need to post some pic of it . i used a 1999 chevy truck coil and bracket it has the module mounted on it with a heat sink. you have to take that module of and use the old mid 70 HEI module. but it makes it nice because it all on 1 bracket with a heat sink.i put my old carb back on. just to try it it still lacks power. its nit bad. but it was faster when the motor was wron out it was just hard to start. this thing is making me a little crazy. i am going to use it next weekend at the race track to pull my car and see how that go's. but i think after that i am going to pull the motor back out and put 2 new seals in it and reseal the case. and compair all the port heights to my old cyl. thanks let me know your thoughts.
