Hook up a test light and or multimeter to the power lead to the ignitor.
Press the foot switch and see if it lights. You get a single spark or continuous proper spark or random sparks while depressed?
Does it stay lighted while pressed? Let off.
Get a single spark? Light go out?

Check for bad connections?

Do you have a timing light to hookup? Best at seeing actual loss of spark ect.

It's sparks great for few seconds then all of a sudden it stops let of pedal then pump the pedal few times starts sparking again that's with plug out when you put plug in it just cranks over and over no fire so I'm lost

First lets hook up a timing light and lock it on drive it and see if the spark is truly quitting.
Think it is.
Next try the test light.
I bet it is not going out and you have a bad ignitor. But lets make sure before buying anything.

What makes me think its the ignitor is the whole not starting with plug in. Usually means weak ignition system.

Could be a bad wire and you are moving it when pulling the plug.
