Idle kit question
I have an 05 that I just did upgraded to the heavy clutch springs. And have the idle kit. My question is....the starter/generated suppose to stay running the whole time the cart is at idle and running higher Rams? Thanks.

Re: Idle kit question
And how many volts should I have at battery at idle also? Right it's reading around 8volts at idle, 13volts at high rev.

Re: Idle kit question
I don't know anything about idling kits but I'll give you a bump here, I am curious how you shift with it idling though.

Re: Idle kit question
I have a heavier spring in clutch. I believe the stiffer spring opens clutch up at higher rpms. Which allows a higher rpm at idle. What I come to relize is, I have a charging problem at the moment. I have idle set as high as I can go without it popping in gear, or cart won't move on its own at idle. . And still only putting out just under 12 volts. Full throttle it's at 14.60 volts. Going to change out voltage regulator and see if my voltage output increases.

Re: Idle kit question
Thanks for the reply and good luck. Really never understood the idle thing, I use the
cart around the property and like the way they shut off and on with the peddle. |

Re: Idle kit question
Just a quicker response and low end torc with it setup this way. I will have a snow plow hooked up to it soon. That's why I went in that direction.
