Default 1999 EZGO TXT Gas Overheating?

I have a new to me 1999 EzGo gas and when I run it for about 10-15 minutes and I stop, it will not restart when I push on the gas peddle. It seem that the cart is overheating or something, if I wait for about 10 minutes and the engine cools down it will start going again. To be clear when I say it will not restart I mean its dead dead dead... Motor not spinning or nothing.. but after you give it a little "rest" she will fire up and go... then it will do it again.. There are no mods to the cart and everything appears good, no burnt wires or anything obvious.. I thought maybe perhaps the Florida heat and the cart just arent friends .

First thing to do is load test your battery. After that, test your solenoid.

Another consideration would be bad brushes in the starter.

Highly unlikely it is over heating. Air cooled engines have a very big window of operating temps. The Chevy Corvair over heat sensor did not come on till I think 575 degrees! I race Corvairs and seeing engine temps around 350 or 400 is completely normal, so.... I am leaning to the brushes comment made here, that would be a good thing to check.
Good luck, hope you get it and hope it is an easy fix!
