Default engine rebuilders

Has anyone heard of or used Precision Engineering Stl for an engine rebuild?

The thing you have to understand with ANY of the rebuilders is the core charge if something is amiss. If a component is bad it can really run the tab up. Also they are the judge and jury to what is bad.

I seen his ad. It is pretty typical for most EBay and other on line rebuilders. Most of the complaints are do to core issues. As you can imagine some customers try to use something that is not rebuildable as a core resulting in fairly harsh penalties for bad cores.

Also thing is about these is they strictly replace what's wrong so if a guys core has one scored cylinder they only fix that cylinder and piston and leave everything else so it may say rebuilt but there is abunch of used parts in the motor that normally would be replaced during a rebuild that's how the sell them cheap and still turn a profit granted Yamahas are one cylinder I was just using that as a example

Thank you guys for the replies. He is about an hour from me and is going to rebuild my J38, I haven't heard or found anything bad about him. Crossing my fingers!

I spent about a 1/2 hour talking to him once about a club car engine. He knew from the start I wasnt going to buy anything from him but he was very helpful and kept answering questions and offering advice.
