Default G1A loading in truck

does anyone load their cart into a truck with a set of ramps? Should it have enough power to drive up a steep angle ? I have a 1990 4x4 stock height and aluminum ramps for my mower and dont want to buy a trailer.

Shouldn’t be an issue. If possible back into a ditch when loading

Second using a ditch or incline, even in flat country you can always find an advantage by lowering the rear end. A buddy carries car ramps to pull his front tires onto and raising the front up 10" lowers the tailgate height.

Power is never an issue the steep angle of the ramps will bottom the cart out that becomes the issue like everyone has said find an incline back up to and you'll have no problem

Yes I put my g1 in my 2006 tundra with folding ramps. I have to put it backwards because the front suspension is wider than wheel wells. IMG]https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171014/05a5effcdfce98b7eb369867c793cca5.jpg[/IMG]

Looks like a lot of weight in the back of that pickup. If you are opposed to using a trailer you might give some thought to putting a set of air bags on the truck rear springs. The truck's handling and safety will improve greatly with a more level stance.

Rather than spec'ing my F250 with HD rear springs I added a set of rear bags. Rides like stock when empty. With a 7,000lb trailer and equipment hooked to it, 50psi in the bags makes it handle almost like it is empty.
