Yep I use a lathe when I'm at the shop but a grinder from my experience works just fine....its not imperative to get it completely smooth/even as you would with a brake rotor.

I appreciate all the help. Thought I was doing some justice on the site showing some simple fixes but I realize there will be critics and plenty of people pushing to $pend $pend $pend. I'm not someone who needs my cart for off roading or racing (although I'm down to race with any of my refurbished parts). By the way can someone tell me why a freaking rear hub cost $88 when I can get 2 automotive hubs for nearly half the price??? There's got to be a better way to obtain hubs cheaper...Im thinking there has to be small trailers with the same splined sized hubs...anyone done research? Maybe lawn

By the way I ordered a hub but you bet your a$$ it wasn't new from China.
