Default how to tell what type of engine you have

I have what I believe is a 1986 Columbia golf cart it has a Yamaha engine in it just not sure which one I need to get some parts and work on it ,unfortunately where I live I have no repair shops for them around and it doesn't want to stay running unless the choke is pulled out and also I believe the clutch is noise I don't have a clutch puller so unable to remove to see if it is the clutch but I put a different carb on it because the one that was on there was a lmb 234 and I cant find nothing on it. I don't know if there is an aftermarket clutch I can get for or anything. So if you know how can tell the difference please let me know.

If it want stay running with out the choke pulled sounds like it a vacuum problem or something is stopped up. Is it a 2 stroke. Before you throw parts at it there's several things you can do but need to know if its 2 or 4 stroke

It looks to be two stroke and you an tell by motor oil. Does it have a motor oil reservoir? What does it say on the oil fill cap?

That's not a Yamaha motor there's a dead give away right on top of the shroud where it says "Columbia"
