1997 EZGO TXT with a rusted and frozen clutch. As a last resort measure has anybody had to (with a recip. saw) cut the clutch in line with the shaft and then used a chisel to split it to get it off. The old clutch just will not come off and I have broken the outer shieve part in about 6 pieces. I have tried a puller and no luck with that. It has been 3 days soaking in PB Blaster as of this morning and it still will not budge. Yes the bolt is out. Help!

There is a post on here somewhere where a guy actually used a torch and chisel if i'm not mistaken to remove his clutch. As you can see by what everyone has posted about removing them, they are NOT an easy task. My local dealer told me that they have spent days trying to get them off. All I can say is my do a search for clutch removal and see what you come up with.

Not much help but maybe it will give you some insight as to the nightmare.
