Default EZGO ST Shuttle (6 passenger) bottoming out in rear

The rear left side of my cart bottoms out in turns. If you look at it statically, it seems to be closer to the rubber stop that the body bottoms out on over the rear axle on the driver's side. Mine had heavyduty springs from the factory and I just replaced them with the same and no improvement. It wasn't always this way but we overloaded it lugging some sacks of sand around the yard and it's acted funny ever since.

Any ideas?

Welcome!!Get the cart on a level area, and start measuring. You may have bent the frame when you overloaded it.Before you start measuring,Make sure all 4-tires are similar, and pressures are the same.Start with measuring from axle-tube to frame,on each side, then compare it to measurements of the top of the wheel-opening to the ground. Also measure from different points of the frame to the ground, and also from the body to the ground.Look for odd clearances between body parts(tapered,overlapping,rubbing,extra-wide,etc...).If something measures off compared to the opposite side, start looking for chipped-paint at weld-joints on the frame, this will indicate a flex-point.Also look for odd buckles or kinks in the rails. Also look at the shackle angles for the rear of the rear springs. When correct, they should be vertical,or slightly rearward at the bottom( \ ).If they don't match, measure the spring-lengths to make sure they are the same(you should jack it up,with the axle hanging, and measure along the spring from eye to eye centers. If this dimension is correct, and everything else checks out, remove the springs, and set them upside down on the floor, and compare the arch,it doesn't take much difference to cause it to lean. The springs can be re-arched by a spring-shop,and if the frame is bent a bit, with no structural damage that will cause failure(a slightly bent rail isn't unsafe, its just bent a bit),You could have one of the springs re-arched to help correct the lean.Hope this helps.
