Club Car DS Dash
So I bought an aftermarket dash for my 2001 Club Car DS. When putting the old keyswitch into the new dash, I can't keep the keyswitch from spinning when turning the key. I know the factory dash had to piece the extended backwards with catches for that little silver washer.
What did you guys do to keep that keyswitch from spinning in the new dash? I guess I could get another thin nut and put on behind the dash and one in front, but I'm not sure that would stop it from spinning either. Maybe a washer with teeth on it to bite into the plastic dash from behind? |

Re: Club Car DS Dash
The double nut is what works well. The one added to the back gives a point for setting the depth and allows you to tighten the front very tight without damaging the switch as it places the pressure against the nut base.
