Default Navitas 5Kw motor locks up

Yesterday, my motor locked up for a second and locked the tires when slowing down. Everything has been working great for 8 months but out of the blue I’m getting lockup’s. The cart runs fine until decelerating. I turned the regen all way down but same problem. Doesn’t happen every time. Could this be a solenoid problem? Any other ideas? 2014 Precedent.

We've sold and installed several of these systems and never experienced this issue. Have you called Navitas and spoken to one of their techs?

No I haven't. Thought I'd post here first since it was late last night. I'll give them a shout later. Thanks.

I agree with David. Call Navitas support. The techs will figure it out. Could be a multitude of issues.

For quick measure turn off your T/R switch and unplug and and plug your OTS back in. If the molex isn't seated correctly the OTF could be sending a whack signal. Also check your speed sensor connections to the harness.

But, please do call support! They are super nice and respond really fast.

Cheers,
Greg
