Jeep - The fuse you see is for the CHARGER HARNESS. It is the new style harnesses that no longer have a reed switch

That's the charger harness fuse. It is correct. All new carts / charger harness have these. They replaced the reed switch!

Either a 50 or a 60. Can't remember right off hand! I believe in 2006 or 2007 the reed switch was replaced with this setup

LOL - I'm not a heat shrink guy myself. I've seen too much corrosion build up underneath it around here...

Mike, thanks for the info on the fuse. I totally missed that one. Looked just like the fuse that come with Alltrax Controllers.

Yeah - It's confusing. I was wanting to mention this fuse in the reed switch thread the other day, but I just didn't want to open that can of worms

Now that Scotty knows, I'll let him worry about passing it along to everyone else now

Yeah the fuse is a 60amp I think.. and the red wire to neg is not something I usually do, but I ran out of black wire. I have seen corrosion under heat shrink also as well as halfway down a covered cable so I think as long as you keep them clean from the get go your safe. Glad there is nothing really wrong.. :)
