Stereo Issue
I noticed that the volume fluctuates when I drive. The volume seems to go down when under power. The stereo is powered by its own battery. Is there some sort of inline filter or something that I need to have to prevent this. Is this a common problem with stereos and electric carts?

Re: Stereo Issue
That does seem strange. I would probably expect it to fluctuate if it were tied into the cart battery pack. Don't see why it would do that under it's own designated battery supply. When you take the load off the cart, does it come back up to full power again? May not have anything to do with the problem, but is the stereo grounded to the cart or back to the battery?
Come on, you cart gurus, knock this little problem out for him. Anyway, bumped it for you. Good luck! |

Re: Stereo Issue
Does the stereo do this in radio mode AND CD mode? If radio only, AM or FM?

Re: Stereo Issue
No CD player just an AM/FM reciever with I Pod and other media inputs. It does come back up when I let off the accelerator so I assumed it was some king of interference. I remember in my teenage car stereo days that we used some kind of filter to get rid of feedback or similiar noise. Will check with a stereo shop.

Re: Stereo Issue
OK, does it do it while your I-pod is playing, or just on the radio end?
