Check the solenoid activation circuit. Sounds to me that is where the problem is... unless the reed switch is blown...

Can you verify with your voltmeter that you have 36v across the 2 small terminals on the solenoid when you push peddle. My guess is no. See which one you are missing, Positive or Negative ...... sounds like a blown reed switch in the receptacle, a simple bypass will fix it.

No voltage on the solenoid at all....The Reed switch was blown..and
we by passed the reed switch...

Talked to a tech at E Z Go Dealer and had me test the diode on the solenoid.

Did a continuity test and was going both Pos and Neg...He said the diode was blown also....So, I am waiting for a new diode and a new micro switch from the accelerator pedal, as he says it is more than likely blown also...

Waiting on replacement parts at present....Thanks for the reply

Will keep you posted...

OK After talking to an E ZGo Tech, replaced the diode on the solenoid, replaced the micro switch in the acelerator pedal box, testing with the volt meter and giving me instructions, found that the red wire from the accelerator pedal micro switch to the plastic connector was blown.....the connector has four wires, black, white, red, green......the red wire is the faulty wire....We now have the acelerator micro sw. making contact with the solenoid....Getting closer to the problem....However, still no go with the motor turning the wheels....The tech seems to think, maybe more than one wire has blown in the loom.....am talking further with the tech and getting further instruction tomorrow....Any further suggestions appreciated....Thanks...

Here is the latest on the saga of a 95 EZ Go 36 v - Fleet golf cart...

After determining the solenoid to be defective...Replaced with new one...Thought this would be the cure.....No such luck.....Doing wire continuity testing with ignition wires and wires from the acellerator pedal box, replacing the micro switch, found the red wire
leading to the four pin connector to be faulty.....replaced the faulty wire...Still no go...
checked the speed control with multi-meter.....Testing inconclusive...E Z Go Tech, believed this to be the problem.....Replaced with rebuilt controller....Hooked everything back in order....fingers crossed....Disappointment again.....no motor activation....
Further testing with meter to battery pack...solenoid....acellerator pedal....reading from acellerator indicates no power output....?????? Believe the Inductive Throttle Sensor (ITS) to be defective????? Talked to another Tech...says in nine years working on E Z Go carts, maybe replaced 2 or 3....Still in limbo.......Suggestions needed....

Ok since you have done so much lately, lets start at the beginning.... is the solenoid activation circuit working properly?

Txt solenoid activation
power starts on the white wire on the 36+ of the battery pack.
Power travels to the charger receptacle, goes through a reed switch inside the receptacle and comes out on the red 12 gauge red wire. ( check for power here, 1st!)
the red wire travels back through the loom to the forward and reverse switch where it attaches to a micro.
The other side of that micro has a blue wire attached that runs under the cart to the front and arrives at the keyswitch.
The keyswitch then transfers power to a green wire which returns to the area of the forward and reverse switch.
The power then goes through a 4 pin molex connector and travels to the "pedal box" (located under the floorboard of the car) where it goes through a micro and comes out on another red wire.
That red wire comes back up to the controller/f&r area where it once again goes through the 4 pin molex connector and continues on to the small post of the solenoid.
