Re: e z go elec died on the course
NO voltage? Install a jumper on the large posts of the solenoid. Does it run?

Re: e z go elec died on the course
Hang on there.... we're in for a bumpy ride.....
are you getting the solenoid to click? If so, are you getting power on the controller side of the solenoid with the cart in gear, key on and pedal down? Does your controller still have the white connector that plugs into the 5 pins on the top of the controller? |

Re: e z go elec died on the course
Hello Again...Hopefully the mystery to the E Z Go has been solved....After replacing the
speed controller, solenoid, micro switch in acellerator box, new harness to the solenoid, and a lot of frustration and phone calls to different Techs.....While probing the 6 pin connector with volt meter....It has been determined there were two wires not making contact.....We now have motor activation and wheels turning.....We should be putting the pieces back together tomorrow and getting this cart back on the course....Thanks to all who replied with suggestions... |

Re: e z go elec died on the course
OUCH...... sounds like an hour of tech shop time would have been a lot cheaper than all those parts ..... that pin connector can get loose if you drive rm in the rough a lot
Glad to hear you got her going and thank you for completing this thread so it can help somebody in the future with a similar problem |
