Default 2PG Carb adjustment

I dont think my carb is dialed in properly. What is possibly the best adjustment for these? I can do trial and error i just didnt know if anyone else had an idea. Finally have it running good just want to dial it in. I couldnt find anything in my searching.

Sight (smoke), sound (ping and lugging) and most importantly read the plug. You'll want to stay on the rich side as you are finding the sweet spot and it will take a while. I'm still dialing mine in and I've got about 60 hours on it since the carb swap. there are a lot of guides around telling you what the proper plug color should be, but optimum is a mid-dark brown...kinda like a cardboard box. Also, make sure you are running the right gas/oil mix (assuming you've removed the oil injector). I've been told EZGO says 125:1 but don't quote me on that.

EZGO factory spec on the 2-strokes is 128:1 (with the exception of break-in, when they recommend 40:1)

1oz 2-stroke oil to 1 gallon of gas will get you there!

Sam the only adjustment on your carburetor is the low speed by pass screw. The manual suggests that you loosen the lock nut and (gently) wind the screw all the way in. Now wind out 2 turns and lock the nut. Go for a drive and then adjust the screw half a turn either in or out. Go for a run. Better or worse? Keep messing until you feel good. For me it ended up being two and a half turns out.
