Nice job on the engine. Looks great. Now I have something to shoot for. Just hosing it down just don't cut it anymore.

I use a pressure washer and have never had any problems.

I'll give you some cleaning power advise, but don't quote me if anything goes wrong!! If you spray down everything, (except the batch of electrical components) with Easy off oven cleaner, let it sit for about 10-15 minutes, then gently hose it all off, your motor will look like Mikes!! This stuff works wonders on grease, dirt and oil. I used it on a jet ski engine compartment that had been in the woods for two and a half years without being touched. I let that sit in there for 20 or so minutes, and by the time I washed it off, looked BRAND NEW!!! It also got rid of the hundreds of spiders that had made it home too!

I found bleach works good for stuff, though not super powerful. I mix it half with water and put in my sprayer, spray the whole cart inside and out....most things rinse right off. And if you want white seats and stock white body, it works really well you can let it dry on in the sun then rinse it. I have used it on houses and all kinds of stuff. Another good one is the automotive engine degreaser in the spray can, it works better than you think for a spray can.

I'll have to try the oven cleaner trick. will it harm the hoses, like bleach would dry them out I would think.
