Just picked up a 98 Carry All VI Flat bed / Need little Help.
Hello All,
I just picked up a 98 Carry All VI, Atleast I think it is a 98.. The serial #s are JG9837 - 693133 I am not sure how to tell what engine I have can anyone help? I also tested the charging system and does not seem to be charging, How can I test the starter/Generator? Got 12.3 volts with the cart running at the battery.. I would think I should be getting 13.3 - 13.5... Voltage reg? Or Starter/Gen? I will post some pics tomorrow.. Thanks for any help people.. Ant... |

Yup, you have a 1998. As for the engine, look on the metal engine cover near the big flywheel cover. There will be a sticker with a bar code and a sequence of numbers and letters. It will either say FE290D-XXXXX OR FE350D-XXXXX - Kawasaki FE290 or Kawasaki FE350
