Default Is this a good buy?

I want a gas cart for next summer. I was looking for a limo but this looks like a decent deal. What do you think? $1600 for a 1994 gasser?

If it's legit, better question would be, is this not a good buy?

No seriously, that is a very good price, unless there are some issues with it

Even for a 1994? I am so unfamiliar with gas cart prices. No issues, guy just doesn't go camping anymore.

Here is a bit of a gauge, that cart near me would easily be around $4000

wow, guy said he GPS tracked it doing 20mph. I think I am going to scoop it up if it is still available. I always need some reassurance from here as I hate getting in over my head budget wise.

When I see something I like, I check craigslist for asking prices, sometimes in other cities if I can't find enough similar here. Those are asking prices, so I figure on a cart like this the guy would go $200 below asking, I factor that in. Just a way to quickly gauge local asking prices.

with that said, this price seems OK considering the lift and tires, I see some for less that do need work.

And I saw this near me, since you mentioned LIMO

That cart would be worth around $2,200-$2,700 around my neck of the woods...

That's a very good buy given there are no issues. 1994 is in the coveted pre-97 year range for the transaxle rotation. If something ever happens to the engine, the transaxle in that cart is the one you want for swapping in a Vanguard or a clone engine.
