Testing Solenoid
I am back same golf cart 2000 DS 48volt, place a new controller Alltrax 300 amp on 11/04/14. Now I am pretty sure my solenoid is bad, but is there a thread I can review, can I jump the heavy yellow to red?

Ok, so you have a stock unit
Solenoid.JPG Even with the 300 amp Alltrax, it probably isn't a bad idea to get 200a/800a peak solenoid. For testing it, jump the large posts |

ok may have found a bad cable, (burnt). But I need to go to town, live in the mountains, can I get a better solenoid at the auto supply store?
