Default Re: 97 DS with2 solenoids--controller backfeed??

The only other test missing is the throttle voltage signal, the controller will generate a "High Pedal Detect" fault if the signal is below 3.0v when the key is turned ON.

If You measure the voltage on controller pin #7 Yellow/Black wire, the voltage should be 3.5v-0v from Pedal Up to Pedal Down.

so are you suggesting i put the controller back in the cart and hook it back up to do this test?

Would a failure of this test, cause the controller to not give me a negative to the solenoid?

I was going to maul the controller to FSIP in the morning.

If you don't think i should send in the controller before i do this test, i won't.

Let me know your thoughts.

In order to do this test, do i jumper the obc like i did before?

Here is pictures of this old controller :

A failure of the throttle signal (low voltage) would prevent the controller from activating the Solenoid.

Although the only way for that to happen is for the +5v to not be present at the MultiStep potentiometer purple wire.

So unless that purple wire is cut somewhere, the controller is likely the problem.
