I have (had) the same Interstate batteries, they last 4.5 years, although sitting for 10 months while I was on deployment didn't help their life span. I pick up my Trojan Rangers 160 ($149.00 ea) this afternoon.

Out of all the batteries I have pulled out of carts dead.....Interstate tops the list. Most have only lasted 3 years. I test many many batteries, and have seen more than my fair share of 2, 3, and 4 year old dead Interstate batteries. Granted, most battery replacement is due to neglect, but Interstate seems to show up often. Maybe its just because they are cheaper and your "do it your-self-er" buys cheaper batteries....

Just sayin' I see a ton of them dead at a early age.....

I've bought Interstate batteries and they were the most expensive batteries I ever bought.

I've always had great luck with Interstates. 6 years ago, I went to my local Interstate distributor and bought a $45 'refurbished' battery for my car. Just last month I replaced it because the guy that did my inspection said it was getting weak, even though it was still starting the vehicle. So I went to Interstate and they had another $45 'refurbished' battery. $45 every six years isn't bad, and who knows how long my original one would have kept cranking...

I would have thought it was simply as there is usually an Interstate dealer or two in just about every town. Whereas Trojan and Crown suppliers are further on down the road....

No... you'll likely be disappointed with the overall performance of 4-12V's over 6 - 8V's.

If anything you would want to keep that order or cancel and get 6 - 8 Volt trojans.

The question is, will they fit in the battery bucket? What's in there now 6 or 4 batteries?
