Vegas Carts can guide you if you give them a call. Their carb is adjustable, but it wont idle any lower than 1000 rpms, prob 1100 or so.
If belt is new it might take a few hours of run time to break it in. Very sticky when new. You could try to give it a bit more slack too. |

The comet 780 doesn't engage until about 1600 rpms.Even a new 460 should be able to idle at about 1200 rpms.Where are you rpm wise?
