Good carbs bad carbs.
Over the years I've had mixed luck with cheap carburetors thru ebay and amazon. With that said here's my question my cart (84 g2) has developed a gas leak at the bowl. Engine runs ok but gas leaking on geni belt not ok. The only kit I've found on ebay is redicules price. Anyone know were to get one resonably priced. Or the carbs I've seen seem cheap but how do I know which one is the best quality. I hate to get rid of the oem I'd rather rebuild but am open to either. Also were can I find good plastic my old girl sure could use a fresh wardrobe. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

I would make the OEM carb work at all costs!! I went to ACE Hardware and got an O ring to fit where the float bowl goes. That was 7 years ago!!

Re: Good carbs bad carbs.
Good ideas guys thanks. I wonder if the parts in an aftermarket carb would also work. Like the throttle spring and float and such. Again thank you for your time. Also is there an adjustment to the float I can do.

This kit has OEM parts. If you search part numbers you can find OEM jets and adjusting screws etc, too. http://www.tntgolfcar.com/yamaha-par..._442_1004.html |
