Default RXV Accelerator Return Cable Snapped

It appears the small cable that attaches the return spring to the accelerator pedal on my 2014 rxv has snapped. Does anyone have a replacement part number on hand, or a link to a parts diagram I can look it up?

That question has been ask many times here. EZGO said that they never put them on any RXV carts. They have only been found on Fleet cart. So what is believed third party Fleet distributor or something like that installed them.

That's too bad there are no replacements. I first tried the rubber hose idea I had seen Bob Boyce mention on the ends of the spring to tighten the spring, but that still was not strong enough to consistently return the pedal to the full upright position. So I made my own return cable with some braided wire and crimps. Time will tell if it lasts or not.

These are the craziest things I ever seen for electric ezgos! Maybe belongs in the gas section...

If I had only known ...

Can't stand the kawi ezgos, might as well buy a clubcar.

Yamaha gassers for ever! Never buy a gasser that isn't Yamaha!

My fix was similar. The 2011 model had a loop of wire that broke. I got another new piece of stainless wire, as big as would fit in the notch.

I got the length for the new wire from the old loop and wound the new wire into the old loop and soldered it, along the entire length of both legs of the loop. That way, the original metal ball stays attached.

You really need the flux. It will never work without that.
