Cg I agree with the crappy power cord and had done that while I waited for my warranty replacement. As for the power board it was just a thought.

Good question.

The new board might not have a float charging stage, but I suspect DPI didn't completely reinvent the wheel when they went from Gen-III to Gen-IV, so it might be lurking in there someplace.

If it is, I might get a Gen-IV when I go to 48V. I prefer the old school line frequency step-down transformers.

Guess I'll wait till they answer me in the email. I do t wanna loose float charge. Cart is not driven that often and well no float is prolly a bad thing ..

I had a gen 3 and 4 apart next to each other and looked very similar for the primary board up front. Jumper cable from the from the front to the back board. Back board controls the AC side. Just wondering. Not enough time to play.
