Reverse issue
So I got the cart moving again after 7-8 months of not working. The solenoid went out and when I got around to working on it the batteries were shot. They were 6 y/o and went 2 years with little maintenance on them. Fast forward to Monday, I went and bought a set of new US batteries and got them installed. Put in new 2g wires and HD solenoid. Works in forward just fine but when shifting to rev the solenoid clicks and then after a few seconds it slams into rev and goes. You can let off of the pedal and try pressing again and it moves just as smooth in rev. Didn’t do this before the solenoid went out. Is this a motor issue or something else? I have a 96 series cart with HD F/R switch form Carts U with the lever under the seat.
