Default FE 290 carb parts

Any place to get Carb parts? I dont need many but trying to price my options

I need the bowl and the drain screw because my drain screw snapped off (according to OEM parts book they should come together)

and I need a new gasket

Reading mixed reviews on rebuild kits: on buggiesunlimited the reviews say its a cheap china rebuild kit

or here: https://www.golfcarcatalog.com/club-...build-kit.html

only going to order a rebuild kit because its just as cheap to get a rebuild kit for $25 vs buying the gasket for $22. Just want a oem gasket or one that isn't going to be the wrong size. had bad experience with chinese rebuild kits for jap carbs

thinking I might be further ahead to maybe just replace the carb if I can find a used one, this one was covered in hard junk on the outside but ran fine. I think I got it cleaned up the best I can without a ultrasonic cleaner

I did the same. Needed all the gaskets but couldn't get them all from one supplier so I ordered cheap carb off amazon just for the gaskets. I did use the carb for a few weeks and it worked fine. But call David Hicks (TahoeDawg) as he will have everything you need.

did the gaskets work fine?

EDIT: i didn't mean to say gaskets! I made my own gaskets out of a beer box because I ran out of gasket paper.

What I meant was, I need the O ring between the bowl and the top half of the carb! I apologize. I do not need the actual carb gaskets

I have had good luck on these small parts by ordering from my local John Deere dealer. A FE290 was also used in some gators.
