All the way to end of the threaded rod.

On a yamaha, when properly adjusted, it would never be more than 3 inches of rod showring past the nut.

I’ve tried loosening the brakes at the pedal but it seems that either my cables are stretched or the star adjusters aren’t working correctly. My dang drivers side adjust lever still just moves over top the star wheel when i press the brakes which inherently makes my drivers said brakes non operational. The shoes on drivers side don’t move at all when i press pedal with drum off.

When the cable has been pulled that tight, I have seen it wear the star wheel off.
If I was working on it, I would just take it all apart and start over to make sure everything is working correctly.
