Help a breif history of Yamaha drive systems
I have a G19 thats ben thru stock & 2 altrax controllers over the past 15yrs,
now I going to look at a lot of 3 yamaha carts that are for sale, Only info was they were all 36v. I know about Ezgo drive history but nothing about yamaha so I think theses must be series carts? Did Yamaha make resistor carts or where they all series, where do I look for a ID tag? I was hoping to switch back to series drive system, will be a few days before I can inspect them. |

Re: Help a breif history of Yamaha drive systems
Just to clarify resistor coil carts have series wound motors and are therefore series drive.
It looks like Sepex was introduced for Yamaha in the G19 model. And continued into G22 and G29 |

Thanks for the reply, went to look at them and were all resistor carts. Was hoping they had controllers but only coils so didn't bother with them.
