Default HELP ME >>oil in the air filter area

I have a newer EZGo gas. It putters when it starts and now has oil in the air liter area. It was running great before and just started doing this. When it gut started to putter I thought I had bad gas. I looked in the filter area and there was oil. I did a oil change months ago and no oil for months. So it is not over filled. what do I need to do to fix it and all that fun fun stuff

Is the cart lifted? You sound as if you already know about the to much oil issue. does it smoke any? Adjust the valves, Check the plugs and see if one is fouled (for the running problem) A compression test may be needed.

It is lifted and the oil is ok and has the right amount. How do you adjust the valves that is what I thought is the problem. The plugs still look ok .

I have adjusted the valveIt putters a little but it does not get up and go. It almost feels like it has brakes on. I adjusted the brakes and it is not tight at all. What is going on. I was told that the new gas additive in the gas is mess up seals. I am rebuilding my card on my lawn mower and the carb on this Cart is only about 3 months old and just about 5 full tanks of gas throught is. I have even changed the gas filter.
