Default 350cc wont run slow

Good day to all,
I just installed my newly rebuilt 350cc robin
In my 2000 workhorse
Rebuilt by “J&M” they did an excellent job and fast
The carb is practically new but I can’t get it to run slow
When I touch the gas it wants to go fast when I try to let of the gas to go slow it jerks and spits back
Any help is greatly appreciated

Thanks
Bill S.

sounds to me you have a bad/sticking accell cable With key off raise seat and look at the carb while you are pushing the gas pedal down and than slowly release teh pedal, see if throttle open/closes properly. the cable going to the pedal is bad about sticking due to it gets and the dirt/mud in it which causes the cable to rust/bind up. I have done 3 of these cables over teh past week.

Part number is 72713g02. that has been the one I used.
