Gas Pedal Starting
I only drive my golf cart on the street. Is there any way to go from pedal starting to key starting. I want the cart to idle when stopped.

Yep there's a kit you can buy. Check with the site sponsors.

Re: Gas Pedal Starting
On my ez-go there is a box under the floormat, about in the center of the floor, there is a switch in there that triggers when you push on the gas. I pulled the 2 wires off and made a jumper to connect them together, so when you turn the key on it starts. I also idled it up a little just to be sure the motor was running and not just the starter/generator turning.
If yours isn't an ez-go than I'm not sure what to do, but the concept should be very similar I would think. |

Re: Gas Pedal Starting
Thanks for you help Fire Guy, it worked like a champ. I used a car fuse as my jumper. It was a simple less than 30 min. job, and didn't have to buy a thing.
