Testing an ignitor UPDATE
Can this be done? I've checked the factory manual and there is nothing on this. Is there any way to test it other than swapping in another one?

Re: Testing an ignitor
Wonderful. That's not exactly what I wanted to hear ya know
I swapped out the pulsar coil, still didn't fire. Changed plugs and coils, (tested both, both ohmed ok) only thing I can think of is I must have fried the factory ignitor as well as the MSD. I can't think of anything left in the system that would cuase a no spark. |

No time to hold out for a uesd one to show up. I need this cart at the track. It's not just a convience issue, My daughter drives a Jr dragster and they need to be towed through the pits. Not allowd to drive them except for on the track.

Re: Testing an ignitor UPDATE
Sorry PM. I left for Summit racing right after I posted my last post.
Picked up another MSD and did a quick wire in and WE HAVE SPARK I'll have to finish putting it back together tomorrow after I get off work as I still have the cover and fan off and the plugs out but at least I now have spark at the plugs. It's kinda nice living only 45 min away from Summit |
