These are the wrist pin spacers. I just tore mine apart last evening and checked the parts bag to make sure that's what they are.

Thats what I was thinkin on my way out of town. We started and ran it even drove it around. I had to call him and say STOP RUNNIN IT!

Engine assy. came back out and got them in without wrecking any gaskets.

Oh, the 2 stroke motor....That's why there's no balancer shaft...
Most 2 strokes dont have wristpin spacers. I had never seen that before. Thanks for the education, I mean information!
I found a a parts manual to see for my own piece of mind and there they were. The piston in the cylinder stops side to side play on some motors. The diagram looks like the bearing is wider than the rods and those hold it in place. I never would have thought that.
