Yamaha G1 Brake Problem
I have a 1982 Yamaha G1. I took off the left brake drum and replaced the pads. I can't get the drum to go back on the cart. How do I loosen the self adjuster to allow the drum to go over the new pads?

Re: Yamaha G1 Brake Problem
There is a little clip on the back of the adjuster screw, you have to lift that up to back the adjuster off and get the shoes in.

Re: Yamaha G1 Brake Problem
Is the adjuster screw on the top or bottom? Looking from the interior side of the brake There is a screw on the top, and a bolt head on the bottom just forward of the cable pull lever.
