Re: g 22 steering issue
My bushings were 1"IDx1.25ODx.75L and cost $5.00, yours might be Metric but still should be easily obtainable from a local bearing place.
In general, Bronze bushings are easy to replace. Knock the old ones out and use a vise or press to push them back in. My bushings went in the long part so I used a pece of allthread with two flat plats and nuts to pull them in place. Don't drive them in with a hammer, the edge will mushroom and deform the ID. |

Re: g 22 steering issue
Ok, I don't know what I'm talking about here, but there are businesses that specialize in bearings-machinery chains and belts. They have roller bearings for just about everything on the planet. Maybe bushings as well. The place I go to is called "Bearing, belt and chain supply". Look on line or phone book, you may be able to find one at a place like that.

Re: g 22 steering issue
I think it's this one but looks like the whole assy needs to be replaced if you can't match the bushings locally.

Re: g 22 steering issue
I recently ran into this exact problem. I bought a bronze bushing from my supplier that was close and turned it in my lathe to the correct size, pressed it in the housing. $5.00 and it was finished. Any machine shop in your area would be able to do the same job if you took the old part to them.
